# What are the workplace admin Matching Gift statuses

## Here's a quick summary what each workplace admin Matching Gift status means

- **Upcoming** (UG) 
    - These are gifts made by employees that are awaiting Uncommon Giving disbursement before they can be acted on by a workplace admin.
- **Pending** (workplace admin)  
    - These are employee gifts that have been disbursed by Uncommon Giving and can now be acted on by a workplace admin.
    - **Approve** - Approves the employee gift match to move along to status "Needs Funding".
    - **Deny** - Denies the employee gift match request.
- **Needs Funding** (workplace admin)  
    - These are employee gifts that have been approved from status "Pending" and await a workplace admin to fund.
    - Please note that to a fund a gift match request, your workplace "Available Funds" must be more than or equal the gift match you are processing.
    - Workplace wallet funding take 3 - 5 business days to clear for funds to be available for use.
- **Completed** (workplace admin) 
    - These are employee gift matches that a workplace admin has approved for funding and will be disbursed in the next Uncommon Giving disbursement cycle.
- **Denied** (workplace admin)  
    - These are employee gift match requests that have been denied by a workplace admin

- **Settings** (workplace admin) 
    - A workplace admin can elect to turn on or off auto-approve employee gift match request from "Pending" to "Needs Funding".
    - A workplace admin is required to fund an employee match request
