# What happens after I request to claim my Nonprofit profile on Uncommon Giving?

## What to expect after submitting a Profile Claim Request.

After you submit a Profile Claim Request, our team will: 

1. Verify the person who registered is authorized to customize the page
2. Confirm your 501(c)(3) status
3. Connect with you personally to welcome you into the Uncommon Giving family!

After the verification process, you will receive an email within 1-2 business days that includes your login credentials and further instructions on how to log in and start customizing your profile. 

Why all the steps? We want to protect our nonprofits and be a trusted place for givers. And, we want to make sure our generous community has confidence their gift is making it to the right place!
