Make your impact go further: New features and improvements for Admins

Your Volunteering Impact, Quantified: You're already making a huge difference, and now you can see it in a whole new way. A new Economic Impact All-Time card has been added to your Volunteering Activity pages. This new metric calculates the total economic value of your organization's approved volunteer hours, based on the per-hour estimate from Independent Sector, giving you a powerful new way to demonstrate your team's collective impact.

Smarter Event Management: Managing volunteer events just got easier with a new Attended status. This new status gives you a clearer picture of who actually participated in an event. You can manually set the status for individual attendees, and the system will automatically update a registrant's status to "Attended" once they log hours for the event. Additionally, we renamed the “Pending” event registration status to “Waitlist” for clarity.

Improved Roster Admin Tools: We've made some key improvements to the user admin experience to save you time and clicks:

The Users page has been renamed to Roster and redesigned for a cleaner, more intuitive experience.

We've added new filters for location, department, and custom fields to help you find who you're looking for faster.

We've added a validation check to make sure all individual transfers (made via User detail pages) have a specified transfer type, ensuring your data is always accurate.

We corrected a bug in the Completed Wallet Transactions graph on the Overview page to ensure it displays accurate data. As part of this fix, we've combined the "User Seeding" statistic with the "User Transfers" statistic for a more accurate and comprehensive view.

Plan Volunteer Hours in advance: Users can now submit Standalone Volunteer Hours up to a full year in advance. This gives you more flexibility and control when planning future volunteer activities, helping you organize your team's efforts with greater foresight.

Streamlined Roster imports: We've updated the Roster Import's CSV template to make your life easier. Required fields (first name, last name, email, user id, and match eligibility) are now positioned prominently on the left, and all other fields have been reordered on the right to align more closely with the "Add User" form. This means quicker, more intuitive imports with fewer hiccups!
- Updated Contact Information: We've updated our physical address references to our new P.O. Box, ensuring that any correspondence is directed to the most current location.
- Stay Informed of Deposit Request Notifications: When a deposit request is received, a confirmation email will now be automatically sent to all Workplace Admins with the "Manage Funding" permission. This ensures everyone on your team is always in the loop, facilitating smoother financial management.

Email Domains, Relocated for Simplicity: We've moved the Email Domains feature from the Profile Editor directly into your Organization's Settings page. This means all your crucial configurations are now in one logical, easy-to-find place, making your administrative tasks more efficient.

- No more detours! We've corrected a bug that was incorrectly routing you to add a new ACH account when attempting to add funds using a previously saved one.
- No more double notifications! ACH accounts that fail our GIACT review will now correctly trigger only a single failure notification, keeping your alerts clear and concise.
- We've resolved an issue where email notifications without an SMS equivalent were causing repetitive duplicate emails – now they'll send without a hitch!

References to Gift Matching are now hidden when the feature is disabled for your organization.
- The "Gift Match Eligible" column is now hidden from the Roster list, export and the Show/Hide columns modal when matching is not active.
- For clarity in your exports, the "allow_matching" column in the User Roster Export has been renamed to "Gift Match Eligible" when displayed.
- This column is also excluded from exported CSVs when matching is disabled, ensuring your data exports are precise.

The sentence "When you make a gift, you can now choose to ask your organization to match it!" is now hidden on the Giver's Join confirmation page if matching is not enabled.

- External Deposits: Organization Admins can submit a request to Uncommon Giving to process funds sent outside of UG platform’s Wallet Funding feature (i.e. via check or wire). This feature is available by clicking "Submit Deposit Request" at the Funding page.
- The published Profile will no longer display "My Organization" or their Logo in the header. "My Organization" previously displayed only when Generosity Program Title was left blank. Generosity Program Title will still display in published Profile's header if specified.

Account Linking provides a streamlined experience for users with multiple roles. To start toggling between roles, link to your donor account via your admin account at Settings > Linked Account > Edit.

For those with Event Coordinator functionality enabled, Volunteer Hours that are Denied by an Event Coordinator will now appear in the Organization’s Volunteer Activity, in the Denied status tab.

When searching the User Roster and managing Users, navigating back to the search from a user’s detail view will now preserve the previous filter settings.

Double The Donation integration: To facilitate matching gift programs, we automate the creation of offline match requests in UG from donations made by employees directly on NPO websites that are integrated with Double the Donation's 360MatchPro (i.e., outside of the Uncommon Giving platform).
