For Our Dedicated Nonprofit Administrators: Backend Refinements and Future-Forward Updates

We're continuously investing in our platform to provide you with the most robust and efficient tools to manage your organization's presence and connect with donors. This release, while minor in scope, includes important foundational updates that lay the groundwork for upcoming major enhancements.

Key Updates for Nonprofit Admins:

  • Refined User Onboarding: We've made a small but significant adjustment to the welcome email for new users, improving readability.

  • Increased Nonprofit Visibility: The prompt "Do you work for a nonprofit? Claim your organization's profile today!" now appears on both the Sign-in and Register pages, increasing visibility and encouraging more organizations to connect with us.

  • Android SDK Update: Our Android Mobile App's SDK has been updated, ensuring compatibility and future-proofing for mobile interactions.

  • Under-the-Hood Enhancements: This release includes backend updates that, while largely invisible, contribute to the overall stability and performance of the platform, preparing us for more significant feature releases in the near future.

More Reliable Data and Smoother Operations

  • Address Forms, Now Flawless: We've ironed out a bug in our address forms (especially those used for payment methods) to ensure that the City and State fields populate correctly every single time. This means less manual entry and more accurate donor data for you!

  • We've tackled two validation errors in the EIN and Custom URL fields on the Nonprofit Profile Editor page, eliminating confusion and making profile management smoother.

  • No more double notifications! ACH accounts that fail our GIACT review will now correctly trigger only a single failure notification, keeping your alerts clear and concise.

Clearer Address Information We've updated the tooltips for your Public and Mailing Addresses for enhanced clarity, ensuring your supporters and our system always have the correct information to connect with you.

Behind-the-Scenes Improvements for a Seamless Experience We've also made some important fixes so the platform works even better for you:

  • Account Profile: The "Disable UGIV Together Notifications" option is now correctly hidden for invalid user types, ensuring your administrative interface remains clean and relevant.

  • What’s New and Help links have been added to lower-left navigation menu. They point to our help site’s knowledge base.

  • In automated emails sent to notify of successful addition of ACH account to a Nonprofit, the Acting User is now included in the email body content.

  • Account Linking provides a streamlined experience for users with multiple roles. To start toggling between roles, link your donor account via your admin account at Settings > Linked Account > Edit.
