Why does Uncommon Giving send donations to nonprofits via ACH?

Uncommon Giving uses ACH to drive down costs and make it more convenient for both the nonprofit and the giver. ACH information is entered on our platform by the donor or nonprofit and protected inside a fully payment card industry (PCI) compliant tokened environment to which we do not have access—in other words, your account data is secure! We also use a market leader in scanning donor and nonprofit information for fraud and risk prevention.
